In an official announcement via Facebook this morning, Disney announced that a sequel to 2012’s Wreck-It Ralph is in development. John C. Reilly, the voice of Ralph, even broke in on the news stating “It’s top secret, but I’ll tell you this much, Ralph leaves the arcade and wrecks the internet. What could go wrong?”
In the concept art below, Ralph and Vanellope are seen looming over a representation of the world wide web, complete with logos and icons that parody (or reference) StubHub, Google, Amazon, Dropbox and even BuzzFeed! (Click the image to see a larger preview)
While the details are scarce at this point, we’ll be sure to keep you posted as more becomes available.
The sequel is slated for release on March 9, 2018
