Seems that everyone’s trying to get money from the mouse these days.
TMZ reports that designer Arman Mkrtchyan has filed a lawsuit against the Disney corporation for $50,000 for the unauthorized use of his chair design in this year’s live-action “Alice in Wonderland”. The designer claims that the heart shaped throne that the Red Queen sits on is a dead ringer for his design. He has also designed them for the other card suits (clubs, diamonds and spades) as well. He’s asking for the $50,000 as a “decoration fee” for the use of his design.
