Android users (like myself) can now rejoice! The long-awaited Android version of the popular game Tap Tap Revenge finally hit the Android market today.

If you’re on an iPhone, you may already be familiar with the game. It’s one of the most popular games on the Apple’s iOS platform (for iPhone and iPad). Disney acquired the game developer Tapulous last year so they could further their desire to deliver content to mobile devices.  For those of you not familiar to the game, it’s like playing Guitar Hero with just your fingers by tapping the screen.

I downloaded and tried it out before posting this article and here’s what I can tell you.

Free music available in the app right after you install it includes the following tracks:
Firework – Katy Perry
Alejandro – Lady Gaga
New Divide – Linkin Park

Also, Pitbull’s Bon Bon is offered as a free track (separately) from the main screen.

On my first try I got over 800,000 on the Pitbull track. Finger/hand cramp is to be expected! I unlocked a new free song. “Diary” by Tino Coury and got 400 coins (whatever you use those for).

You get more coins and more free music for each level that you level up.  There’s more sample tracks for free to be had and in-game purchse is new to Android apps so you can buy additional tracks to play to from your favorite artists as well.

If you’re reading this from your Android phone or tablet, click here to go to the Android Market to check it out! Oh, and it’s free to download.  You only pay for any tracks you purchase in-game.
