With one month to go, Marvel Studios revealed a plethora of new teaser posters this week for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame

There are two themes to the new posters, color or black and white.  The posters all come with the same tagline, which is “Avenge the fallen” but what, exactly, does that mean?  Is this all of our heroes that are now gone, or those that are gone due to Thanos’ “snap” at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, which effectively wiped out half of all life in the universe?

One thing that was revealed that we didn’t know before, Shuri didn’t survive the snap.  Neither did Hope van Dyne/The Wasp, but she wasn’t in Infinity War.  So, that’s a thing you now know.
Another interesting thing is that Loki (Tim Hiddleston) has a (black and white) poster too.  This could simply mean that he was a casualty of Thanos’ search for the stones. Fans will recall that Thanos lifted Loki by the throat with a single hand until he turned a shade of blue that most humans would say is dead.  But then again, Loki isn’t human. Nor would it be the first time we thought he was dead, only to come back later.  But Thanos did say “no resurrections this time” when killing him.

Are we there yet???

We’ve got a month left until we find out how this all wraps up when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26, 2019

(Side note: theater concessions could make some serious bank if they throw in a box of tissues with that large popcorn/soda combo I’m going to purchase!)
