Disney Mobile was short-lived here in the U.S.
MVNO dissolved their stateside partnership with Sprint back in 2007 but later resurfaced in Japan in 2008.

Rumor has it that an Android 2.2 based device will launch in Japan in mid-February.
Not much is known about the device yet but it is rumored that this could be a Disney-branded version of the Sharp 003SH Galapagos.

If that is indeed true, then it’s a pretty decent device as Android handsets go.
Android 2.2 (Froyo) out of the box
1GHz Snapdragon processor
3.8 inch WVGA screen
9.6 MP camera capaple of HD video recording in 720p
400MB of internal memory and external SD storage expandable up to 32GB

I’m a little envious of the Mickey clock widget on the homescreen.
I have an EVO 4G on Sprint and I’d love to see the widgets show up in the U.S. version of the Android Market.  Even as a paid app, I know people (myself included) that would buy it!
